down at the car wash blues

Came out with a couple of scratches on the windscreen.  They describe an arc - just like a sponge or cloth would make.  Especially if it had a piece of grit in.  But not the trajectory of a windscreen wiper blade.

Can’t prove it of course.  

The owner of the car wash says “you look like a careful driver - they are bad people who do this to you..”.  Not his staff then.

They are not bad people; not on the scale of bad people who do really awful things to other human beings.  Careless perhaps; irritating certainly, because it’ll be me who ends up paying.

But tomorrow is wednesday which means it’s Pie Day at the Barge Inn.
