We had a street party in our cul de sac today as part of  "The Big Lunch" project to promote neigbourliness and communitiy spirit. It was absolutely lovely. A lot of us have lived here a long time and our children came back to join in (and their children in some cases) so it was quite multi-generational. This little girl loved the face painting!
