School's out forever!

It was my son's Commeration Evening tonight, his last ever time as a school pupil. I have always loved the view of the Pentlands from the school so I embarrassed him by getting him to pose for this photo! I expect most of the pupils either don't notice the view or take it for granted.

The building behind him is the special school I worked in for twelve years. Very handy for lifts to and from school for both my children over the last nine years. Many an interesting conversation was had on the journey home although it was always much quieter in the morning.
