The verandah.

Looking like something out of a Somerset Maughan novel is this lovely verandah. Complete with white wicker chairs it looks out over Raglan harbour. This a homestead of one of Raglan's earliest settlers ,the Wallis family. I do love verandah's and how they cater for the indoor/outdoor life which is so possible in our temperate climate..... providing shade in summer  and a sunny spot on a clear winter's day.
