Tree Peony

A sunny day again, although breezy and not very warm!  Had to try and hold this poor flower still while I quickly snapped it!  

The extra shot shows where it is in the front garden.  Exposed to the sea salt and all the elements, and yet it flowers every year.  Bought it five years ago by mistake - thought it was the dark red bush one - and it has been a great success!

When Mike got home from work we went and got the hens and their house and brought them along here.  Next door don't do anything with their garden, so are happy for us to keep the hens on it for the summer.  Really handy, as it is just through the gate from our back garden, so they are very close to home!
