20 Fenchurch Street

It's my birthday and it has turned out to be a non memorable one but hopefully I'll have one next year a little more exciting. We are off to Spain at 3 in the morning and I spent the day on trains and automobiles (plane tomorrow) . Having got to London with plenty of time to spare I had a mind to visit the Skygarden ,which was recommended by Sara ,as a lovely bar for a cocktail , only to find they wouldn't let me in without a ticket , grrrr ; the building is very impressive from the outside any way so we'll both book a visit another time . Big managed to get away from work for 7 so just fit in a bit of tapas at The Favourite Place and a glass of red...still thankful.
