Salt marsh

During my PhD I did annual field work on the salt marsh of Schiermonnikoog. Today's trail (the Great Island trail near Wellfleet, Cape Cod), just threw me back to that time. Similar vegetation, sounds and smells. Just beautiful (no ants though, and no coffee & stroopwafels, Thijs). What a beautiful trip we had! Only when on our way back in the car a wall of rain hit us, with even flash flood warnings! Made it back safely again though!
