Skipton 6 1/2 miles
...I like the accuracy and the 1/2 on this old milestone sitting on the cross paths on the very very wet moor today above Ilkley and Addingham. They say it is an old pack horse track going from Knaresborough to Skipton. I took many shots again, some of them in Ilkley going from meeting to meeting, getting drenched in seconds sometime when after 3 o'clock the heavens opened up, a few street photography ones ...and although the blonde girl's bum with the beautiful pink scarf over her head that I captured by mistake while trying to capture this senior citizen couple sporting huge umbrellas walking over the bridge that looked so cute holding hands and radiating the fact that they were really in love ...was a really nice one, I could not post that, as this nice girl saw my camera on and told the couple I was talking photos of them. Ooooppps She was the one that walked in front of me though as she thought I was going so so slow. I wasn't in trouble though as with my charm I explained to the old couple it was a street photography experiment but they kindly asked me not to publish it
At the end it was the running one that i decided to post and I am not sure what it is but I feel that i broken my toe. One of them anyway....but can still run and walk so it should heal by it itself or next time I try to run instead of floating I ll fall.
Meetings were good, but 15 years in the UK and solicitors have not changed the slightest. Snail slow procedures and no happy talking. I was telling them about Greece and they were unimpressed. The secretary seemed to be impressed and she actually had a look at some of my photos too. Then she asked me the classic question...what am I doing here and why I am buying a docking station in Yorkshire, instead of having the view of the magic big blue from my house.
Still haven't found the time to reply to all your comments and I feel awkward about but at least I made the effort to post a blip.
If you found my blip yesterday enigmatic, i just wanted to say that my words come straight from my heart and what I experience. I can't help it, I was , I am and I will leave this world one day a poetic soul. I am sure (here is the enigmatic part again) that in my next life I will still be a poetic soul and i ll probably live somewhere in the wilderness...perhaps have a big beard and just run and swim and ....the list is long
