This is Captain Rambahadur Limbu VC MVO, and is I think an extraordinary man. He is the last surviving VC holder of the Brigade of Gurkas. He was taking part in the Gurkha Pageant which we had travelled to London to be part of. It was a celebration of 200 years of service to the British Crown. We enjoyed a display of the many aspects of the Gurkhas history with their fantastic Masses Pipes and Drums as the musical accompaniment. The Queen , Prince Phillip, Prince Charles and Prince Harry were amongst the attendees. In all there were only 1500 of us which was amazing. After the Pageant we then went to a reception in the grounds of the Chelsea Hospital where the pageant was held . It was at the reception that Mr Tbay was able to meet Captain Rambahadur Limbu in person and shook his hand. Not only that but he asked if he could touch his VC and did! I was chatting elsewhere and was so jealous!

A truly wonderful magical evening!

Sorry I have not been commenting again, but just have not had the time. Also not a very clear picture I know but the subject makes up for it I think.
