The Final Sports Day!!

It was a glorious day today and it also happened to be the final Primary School sports day that, as a Dad, I will attend!!

Over the years, I have seen, first Isaac and then Jonathan, compete in their School Sports Day.....a few "Dad's Races" were run as well and a mixture of weather was also endured - well we do live in Scotland!!

Isaac left primary school a few years back and this was Jonathan's final fling today.

A number of events were on show, but the one that brings back memories for me was the sprint!!

Jonathan made it thru to the final....and even though I commented to his teacher that I wasn't sure that he would do that well - he surpassed even my expectations by coming second overall!!

A great achievement for one who would not count sport too high on the "To-Do List!!"
