Summer evening at Portobello

I've finally caught up with blip after the weekend. Today was the first day of summer, and we had to wait in my Mother's flat for a carpet fitter to arrive. By the time we had tidied up it was nearly 6, so we decided to go down to Portobello Beach. It was packed with people enjoying the rare warm weather. This is a blip of a guy and his daughter enjoying a paddle on a surf board on the almost flat sea. The extra picture is one I considered for the blip and it's as minimalist as I could make of the Forth and the sky. The dominant colour is light blue with a little added pollution!
