Bedford Kite Festival

It's been going less than 10 years, but the Kite Festival has become a real 'thing' in Bedford. The last few years have been sunny and warm but not great for kite flying - today was much better, and the kites only came down for a flypast by the last Lancaster bomber that can take to the wing.

Then Vivien completely surprised me by getting people down to the Ship in honour of my birthday. I've never had a surprise do, it was very good and very very funny.
