One species each day (from my backyard)
I think these are Leratiomyces ceres (Redlead Roundhead).They are quite common on wood chips, and although these were growing on the gravel path, it is the place where firewood gets dropped and other wood waiting to be chopped up. So there will also be saw dust etc.. So I think it's quite well possible. All other descriptions fit also.
