Greenhouse garden

Dear Diary,

Nothing in the construction/mowing areas will be happening now until Friday.  Very frustrating so I took solace in the greenhouse planting some basil and radishes.  Then it dawned on me...next week when I head to Nantucket for a few days I will need to get someone to "baby sit" the greenhouse!  (Emerson will be doing a sleep over at his auntie's house.)  Its windows need opening and closing, the fan needs turning on and off, and of course the plants need watering.   Sigh...nothing is easy.

Mercury has been in retrograde the past month, always a trying time, but today it passes out of that phase and things should start to look up again.  At least I hope so.  There's that word "hope" again!  If nothing else, I am a hopeful person in general.  Some wise person once wrote that whether you are hopeful or full of despair you will end up at the same destination.  The only difference is the quality of your journey.
