Feather Duster

A stormy day here with Thunder and Rain.

Today it is ladies coffee so I set off in summer clothes toting an umbrella.   Having only just set off it started spitting and then came on really heavy and I had to shelter twice to get out of the deluge.   Fortunately by the time I got there I had dried out as it is so warm.  

I discovered this Monkey Pod Tree (Samanea Saman) on a walk we haven't done in a while.   There were two of them and they had only been planted last year so it is the first time I have seen the flowers.   Some of them had been flattened by the rain but I managed to get a decent enough picture.

I am not going out again today so was glad I had spotted this.
