Can you see the wind?

Today I wanted to experiment and see if I could take a photo in which you could see the wind.  I went for a walk in a barley field close by.  I took probably a 100 photos of the rustling grasses.  But then I saw this lone poppy, a little isolated.  The wind coming from behind affects the shape of the flower, although it stands secluded it holds its own space.
