Back in Alva this evening, we went for a few jars at my local. Second time i've been there in nine years living here and the first time was about a month ago.

That's Dave and Hunny. Hunny's a bit funny with other dogs, hence the muzzle. After two camping trips, she's OK with my dog Marley, which is amazing because Marley's pathologically sociable and pesters most dogs into attacking him after a while..

There were a few women in tiara's in the pub tonight watching the queen's concert on TV (i've never been a fan of Elton John). Lot's of top british talent on show like Kylie and Stevie Wonder.

Got a text from Dave on his way home the next day - he had a tyre blowout at high speed on theM40 - scary moment - but he's fine. Lokking forward to seeing him on another highland or island adventure next year..
