Boat trip to Formentera
I have so many fantastic photographs from our day today it was hard to pick just one!
Today we went on a boat trip to the island of Formentera which is 1 hour 30mins sail away from San Antonio Bay. On the sail across there was a large flock of seagulls following us as we sat on the top deck. People where throwing bread whatever scraps of food they could find off the boat and the birds were catching them in their beaks! My clever Stew realised that these birds were rather 'cocky' and would actually take the food from your hand! Although they had to work to keep up with the boat!
After we left the boat we had 5 hours to do whatever. There was the option of getting on a tour bus for 5 hours which would have cost a further 15Euros each! But the sun was shining brightly and it would have been a shame to spend our last day on a bus!
We were pointed in the direction of an idyllic beach, so with packed lunch in tow we walked the half hour it took to the beach. Once there we sunned ourselves and had a glass of sangria or two with lunch!
A perfect way to end our holiday!
