We could be grillionaires . . .

. . . It's a shame we don't know what to do with these game cards given to us in a rubbish French eatery.

The waiter and waitress refused to speak any English but knew enough to give a seriously dirty look when we commented on the subject behind their backs.

Food was somewhat mediocre and we were rushed through the meal even though the restaurant was practically empty.

On the upside we won a free glass of wine but as we are heading for Folkestone tomorrow I don't think it will be needed.

We've had a great holiday but cannot wait to get home and see the cats.

I want my bed back and Grandpa is sick of the constant rip off from the motorway tolls. It's licence to print I tell you! :-D

Edit, we have actually won two glasses of white wine. Grandpa has been trying to work the whole thing out for the past hour or so.

Maybe we should go back to the restaurant and toast the waiter on being a complete and utter idiot.

Oh, edit three. We have now won a cheesecake as well. We fell very excited. Not!

Edit four. I think we have hit the jackpot too many times as it won't let Grandpa cash in his forth ticket. Grandpa is feeling very upset and feels that he has been seriously scammed this evening.

The restaurant gave us four tickets but we can only do three per day. Grandpa refers to the Barclays football card offer but consoles himself in the fact that he has another glass of wine.

Grandpa is studying the tickets very closely. He suspects something dodgy might be going on.

To top it all off we won't even get to know if we are grillionaires until 3rd July when they draw the tickets and as Grandpa foolishly gave the address for tonight's hotel stopover we may never know if we could have gotten an apartment in Santa Margherita after all.

Grandpa is somewhat intoxicated and says that he is angry that they wouldn't take a UK postcode.

This brings us lots of fun and laughter and Grandpa finished the deal by confirming that he will toast the maid with a free glass of wine.

What a laugh, now to get Grandpa to bed!!!! :-D
