Pied Wagtail
I have been trying to get a shot of this little chap (or chappess) for some time and today I got lucky. They run around at quite a pace, darting here and there, wagging their tails as they catch insects on the wing over the ground. This is the first year we have seen them in the garden and that is probably since MrW removed the long Berberis hedge last year, that was between our garden and the road, where they would normally hang out. Now they can see our garden which is virtually cat-free.
