Outburst

Started the day at the Mechanics Institute in Manchester - the Manchester and Pennine Waterways Partnership Annual Outburst. Good event, well organised, excellent speakers (loved Jo Bell and her poetry), but I couldn't stay that long.

The building is where the first Trades Union Congress was held in 1866. The windows have lots of see through panels like this, all sponsored by a different union.

This one is UCATT - very relevant in Manchester today, with so much construction taking place.
