The berry on top

Remember Saturday's tutsan flowers? Here's another part of the shrub with one of those hypericum berries that they use to fill up autumn bouquets ! I thought it looked rather festive with a riot of curly stamens still around it.
I had a very quiet day today, making arrangements for a plumber to come clear the drain pipes in the garage and waiting at home for my new laptop to arrive (so exciting, a very belated Christmas and rather early birthday treat) but only realised at the very last that there was indeed a link to the UPS site and that it said the laptop was still in China (what on earth is it doing there?)
