A Flying Start

A gorgeous hot sunny day so I had to head for 'my spot' at the nature reserve. It was lovely and quiet (apart from the birds) even though there were two bus loads of school children visiting the lake and meadow :-) I could hear the cuckoo but unfortunately not see it, however I did see a kingfisher flash before my eyes along the river........nice to know there is one around, I will watch out for him again :-))
I chose this shot because it made me think of Spishy and her other half who are flying off on hols tomorrow, although not quite in this fashion I'm guessing :-))have a great time Spishy :-)
