Mum and babies

I felt so sorry for this swan and her cygnets swimming along in that mucky water . There was another swan nearby with 5 other cygnets, I hope they all survive despite the dirty water.

I spotted them as we drove back into Tarbert, loch Fyne this evening. Why they choose to swim in this spot I really don't know as other parts of the loch nearby are so clean and clear.

A return to the overcast and wet conditions , hope the weather improves for the weekend as we have the Village School Sports on Saturday and the Daft Raft Race on Sunday.
