Camping out....

The tented homeless protest that was in Albert Square and then moved to St. Peter's Square is now in St. Ann's Square. Legal doings moved it out of the first two squares and are probably in motion to remove the camp from St. Ann's Square. I have heard that, while some of the people here are actually homeless, some of the people here aren't actually homeless but some kind of professional protesters. I have no experience of homelessness, thankfully, but I do appreciate that the homeless have complex problems and just giving them a place may not solve their problems.

I'm interested to see how this encampment develops or if it is to be moved again. The position of my garden for the Dig The City Festival at the end of July/early August is just beyond these tents outside Starbucks.
