Or perhaps that should be 'bogged off back to B&Q'?
Yup, another day, another toilet woe.
Just when we thought we'd fixed the flush, it started to overflow. Constantly, albeit minimally. Still, it's not right and we are on a water meter so can ill afford money literally going down the pan.
Mr A drained the cistern this morning and removed all the bits and bobs he's bought to replace various defunct parts.
B&Q were actually really obliging; we told her the issues we'd had and she just said we could swap the whole thing.
We left the pan, but took everything else (including the wash basin....just in case).
Hopefully, now we know how to correct the flaws, we can assemble it again from scratch and cross fingers that that's the end of it.
I think keep having to undo and refix parts has had a massive impact on various threads, joints & washers which hasn't helped, so I'm glad we've got a whole new cistern and parts to work with.
We had hoped they might have modified it since we bought ours, given the scathing feedback that's been left on the reviews page, but sadly not.
Happy Friday blip mates :-)
