A lovely day spent down at Felixstowe today to escape the awful humidity of Bury St Edmunds and the inland areas. It was a bit overcast at 11o'clock when we arrived but a lovely breeze gave off a comfortable temperature without any humidity. A really nice meal of freshly caught local haddock at The Ferry Boat Inn lunchtime sitting on their outside patio so 'B' could sit with us, and we even had room for a small helping of warm chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and ice-cream! We then had a short walk along the promenade further up from the Ferry end before moving onto Felixstowe Docks for a cuppa and another short walk on the Nature Reserve around the beach area. We are all tuckered out now and I think will sleep pretty sound tonight after taking in the sea air today!
