Freebie

This rhododendron was a self-sown seedling that popped up in the garden. I'm not sure what its origins are, but I planted it out as the new foliage was a beautiful red. I was pleased this spring when it flowered for the first time - I rather like the combination. 

Sometimes there is such a thing as a free lunch!
