What a View!!!
I took this when we walked the dogs after finishing all the work. We have spent the day marking the lambs and dosing the ewes that we gathered in yesterday for another farmer. You can see the work being carried out on the extra photo. This farmer has quite a lot of land spread over a large area so he uses a prattley which is a sheep handling system that folds up and you attach wheels and a tow hitch and move it from one place to the next. It is New Zealand in design and very useful! Its been a long day on my feet and I'm feeling tired tonight!
Pip was very good at bringing in the ewes and lambs to the fank from the hill park so yesterday wasn't just a fluke! Its nice to be able to use her more. This kind of work where there isn't a walk out to take some energy off them can make young dogs a bit over keen and pushy but she was steady most of the time and listened and calmed if she did get over pushy with the sheep.
