Life's A Beach

Our friends returned to England today, leaving us the run of their house.

We cycled alongside the irrigation canal which feeds the numerous local golf courses and keeps the greens, well, green.

This afternoon was spent on the nearest beach here, reading a wonderful book and watching grandparents building sandcastles while their grandchildren ran excitedly to the water's edge to fill buckets to replenish the moats and thinking that next year we could be doing that with Sophie and how lucky we are.

Back blips posted for the last two days, so back up to date. Have a good weekend all
