Disrespect

It comes in all forms

Another parking issue today. I rolled up to the only 3 designated handicapped spots in this lot. I took the only available one. The other two were each encumbered by an adjoining vehicle. The one in front of me was confined by a jeep parked right on the line, leaving little room for a car to park. The one across from it, as shown, was also restricted by this pickup which was parked on an angle. 

Inside the store I watched someone take this spot beside the truck. Her passenger had to get out alone while she remained behind the wheel. She did not have enough room to open her door safely/conveniently. 

So, I spoke to the store manager who offered me the phone number of the management company responsible for this lot. We had a very pleasant conversation on the telephone once I'd returned home. I laid out my frustrations and asked who really polices these areas and what consequences can be applied. She tells me she will find out and call me back. 

Our weather has changed dramatically overnight. A wind came up and blew the forest fire smoke out of our valley. The temperatures have dropped significantly overnight. I actually had to pull a blanket over me in the wee hours of the morning.This morning we had a bit of rain. Here's hoping more fell on the forest fire in Lytton.
