Change is a comin'

As the sun slipped away tonight the darker clouds rolled in at its back... who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Tonight... tonight I rolled back the years it was the school show at my old secondary school, the kids were amazing, the singing was stunningly good. I was just thinking about thirty plus years ago I was one of those kids not for me the footlights I was always stage crew letting others take the limelight.  It was funny as we  waited I ended up helping move the drum kit and amps back to the music department hummming under my breath.  Thinking I was alone I sang a chorus only to be caught by the music teacher... no excuses I suspect I am now on the bill of the former pupils gig... time will tell
