Raindrops and Rhododendrons

I did blip rhododendrons within the last week but I they are EVERYWHERE and just giant and gorgeous. Even deep in the forest there is suddenly a burst of colour.

I only had two shots to choose from as I was on a strict timetable from my boys and not allowed to linger. The suggestion that I might wait for a bee to land on a near flower was met with horror, and something along these lines.. "it's gone Mum, you were too slow".
