So Kai and I are spending the night at the Manchester Children's hospital.

A virus, turned into a very bad chest, turned into a first bout of asthma. I have never seen Kai so unwell and if not for a past life as an intensive care nurse it would have been a very scary day.

Kai has been amazing through it all and has won the hearts of all the nurses and medics. He's been told he's gorgeous so many times it will go to his head if we are here much longer!

We've been told he will have to stay at least tonight and tomorrow night, and since I don't have a phone charger and Kai only wants to sleep on my lap, an unimaginative one-handed very tired mummy and Kai iphone shot will have to do for today.
