"Me 'n' Monty"

Happy_Janwen would have been even happier to have the actual Monty, but the cardboard cutout is certainly a partial win. ;-)

Friday took us from North Wales to the Birmingham NEC (a five hour trip!) for Gardeners World Live 2015. There had been mutterings about the possibility of Chelsea, but all the tickets were gone (oh dear, we'll have to save that hundred quid ticket price...), so I Group-On'd some GWL tickets.

Now, I like my gardens, which Happy_Janwen keep in excellent fettle, but GWL felt overmuch like paying for the privilege of visiting a big garden centre. Even madam agreed, and I suspect the desire for Chelsea has diminished a little. But it was a good day out, albeit the traffic was still rubbish on the way home too.
