Cedar Waxwings on San Juan Island

Today was a windy spring day, which finally lightened up into a bit of blue sky. The highlight of my day was seeing a group of Cedar Waxwings over near Lime Kiln Park on the west side of the island. I have never seen this bird before, and have so wanted to see them, so when they showed up in front of me while photographing a pretty little lake, I was so excited!! They are absolutely beautiful, and the color on their tails is amazing!! They made my day:)))
