A Disney Education

After going to bed ill with sunstroke last night (what an eejit - and at my age!) I was up and at 'em this morning. Today we dedicated the day to Squidge. No chores, just fun for her.

We tried out our new leisure centre which was ace and she was so excited and wanted to stay in the kids pool much longer that we has anticipated. We took it in turns to go off and do lengths ourselves which felt waaaay healthier than our normal Saturday mornings!

Then it was a visit to the library for some more books, cheese on toast at home and a flop followed by a park visit after the rain had stopped. She scales the biggest slide there (see pic) with no bother which I find slightly terrifying!

Just cooking up a big spaghetti bolognese and we have the delights of Snow White on DVD to look forward to in a bit - more for Angus than us, can you believe he has never watched any Disney films as a kid? He is secretly loving his education!
