Bottle Kilns

We have Elly and Oscar staying with us overnight and went to the House of Marbles in Bovey Tracey to collect them. It's on the site of the old Bovey Tracey Pottery and has a group of three listed bottle kilns from the early 20th century. They're of the 'muffle' type if you're interested in such things. I think these old bricks look great.


We have a much better day today, now the storm has passed over and it's probably affecting you more today if you live up-country from here. You can see we had a bit of blue sky although there's plenty of cloud as well.
