Foreboding

All day long we had yellow warnings of thunderstorms and heavy rain. The air was heavy and humid and down at the coast there was a glassy sea and a dark eerie light which seemed to be full of foreboding.

The rain stayed away until the evening and then torrential downpours dropped nearly 2 inches of rain onto the Isle of Wight Festival site making it look more like a typical Glastonbury. No thunder and lightning though which was a little disappointing.
