Delightful Dak!!

Ok ok so I cheated ... This is a picture I took back in 2009 ... But I did this see this beauty today but couldn't take her picture because I was talking to the pilot on the RT!!
It was the annual Trooping of the Colour today and we were all looking forward to seeing the fly pasts. However the British Summer Weather had other ideas and all were scrubbed except for the Reds who flew over Buck House. The others were airborne but either diverted or returned home due weather.
The Dakota diverted to Southend and when she was returning home her route took her directly over EGSR ATZ ... So whilst we were kicking our heels on the ground it was a delight to hear the call 'Earls Colne ... Memorial'!! After checking there was no traffic to conflict she delighted us all with a low pass over the clubhouse and a cheeky wave from the open back door!
So whilst the Queen never got to see her today we did ... And we loved it!!!
