Chives

I was in a meeting for much of the day today so went into the garden this evening for my blip. This is a shot of some chives in a pot in the garden. They are a few years old now. I like the effect of the clump of purple flowers with the rockrose in the foreground. The peonies and the sun dial which are slightly out of focus in the background look good.
It's also good that you can't see the weeds in the main bed. My excuse was the ground was too hard for weeding last week, not sure what next week's excuse will be!
I hate willowherb, I just can't get rid of it no matter how hard I try!!
