Clothes Line Saga
We stayed in Corte overnight, ancient capital of Corsica and Headquarters of their independence leader Pasquale Paoli . Bit of a hero in these parts. We had an early morning coffee in the square and LooseCanon spotted this line of washing, but couldn't tog it due to some wrong lens or something. So I did!
If you imagine the shape of Corsica like your right fist clenched with your thumb sticking up, we have travelled right up the thumb today crossed over the top and are now a little way down the distal phalanx facing left or West. I hope that is clear. We are in a most delightful little fishing village called Centuri. It has lots of fish restaurants and very little else, so we ate out at the best spot in town overlooking the tiny harbour. We tried to take pictures of the setting sun, but mine were a bit rubbish so I stuck with the washing line.
There's a strong warm southerly breeze blowing tonight and the heat of the day is still radiating from the rocks, so it is a beautiful warm Mediterranean evening.
Only a couple more days here then back to the mainland
