Everyday I Write The Book

Reunion

There was a magic moment today when The Girl Racer saw Aged P; without going into detail it made you realise that the secrets of love are never really lost, they are only ever mislaid.

TGR had the jet lag early call from sleep, and I'm an early riser anyway, so we drank tea (me from my new Whistler mug) and yakked, looking at maps of Whistler and its environs; then had pancakes with maple syrup. After Aged P we bought the bread supplies from Borough Market. There were a few louts around today, getting drunk, pushing into queues and even pissing in shop doorways in broad daylight. Classy. But it didn't matter much we just made our way along the South Bank back to Waterloo and stopped for a chat with a campaigner against the new Garden Bridge.

TGR does not like like London much and its crowds not at all, so was glad to get home. This evening we went to Guildford for Wagamamas which was really nice.

Early abed now, we are all pooped.
