Caribana festival!

We had a lovely, very hot, afternoon at the Caribana Festival in Nyon today. Philip and I had a list of the three big festivals to see last year. Philip wanted to see Elton John last year and we nearly got tickets. He saw Elton in his early days when he played in Glasgow and stayed at the British Transport hotel that Philip managed - he gave the staff free tickets! Unfortunately Philip would have been too poorly to see him last year if we had managed to get tickets. Mica was great to listen to today - and the crowd loved him! The last day of this festival is a family day and the main act comes on at 5pm so everyone can enjoy it - all very civilised.
