These boots were made for walking

We were at my great nephews third birthday today. A casual potluck lunch, and some back yard cricket with family and friends. My best photo was of these gumboots belonging to one of the young guests. Don't they make neat stuff for kids today.
The extra is the birthday boy and one of his female friends playing with the stones. Despite getting many lovely presents from a fishing rod that he has already used to a kitchen set with playdough as he is in to baking(his father is a chef) it was still the simple things that all the kids went outside and played with when the parents weren't looking.
Taking stones from the garden and depositing them elsewhere.
