Red Wing Blackbird
It has been a goal to capture this herald of spring. It
seems to be the first bird back in the middle of March
when there is snow still melting into the soil. Finally,
I did catch a photo! The males are such busy birds, always on the
move. This one paused for a minute; its anxiety was palpable
so its mate, nest and young must have been nearby.
My next goal is to get a better photo....A blackbird in
repose if possible.
