Gardener in Nile 49

Back blip

Day off today after getting the essential end of course done yesterday. Good to have Bb back for the last 48 hours here. Packing will be done tomorrow morning!

We went to a new place for us for lunch today - Nile 49, a house boat turned into a shop and restaurant. We liked it and will be back enshallah. It's right on the Nile and has a laid back atmosphere. Here's the gardener who looks after the fresh herbs and plants there.

At night we met Carol and Alan for drinks at the Rooftop Terrace in Zamelek. Nice to see them socially again before we leave Cairo and before they head off to live in Tunisia in a few months.
