Summer Palace

We went and ticked off the last big tourist attraction on our list in Beijing today. The original Summer Palace was destroyed by the French and British after the opium wars, (oops, sorry!) but the restored version is beautiful. I loved the orange tiled roofs. It has been a long tiring day but well worth it.
