Microclimate!

Our friends from Fort William were visiting for the weekend. We've often talked about going down to Culzean with them, but there's usually too many other things happening. After a couple of lovely sunny days in Glasgow, the weather had reverted back to 12C and overcast, but we decided to head down to Culzean anyway.
I was the only one to leave my jacket behind, telling them that Culzean had its own microclimate and it was often warmer there. Happily, I was proved correct! We sat outside to have lunch, then visited the castle, wandered through the walled garden, walked down to the Swan Pond for ice cream and then wandered back via the cliff path.
Stopped in M&S on the way home to get easy to cook food for dinner.
Perfect day!
I'm quite pleased with this picture, my new lens is definitely giving me some nice sharp images.
Extra photo taken from the cliff walk.
