Peace Rose

A blip from the garden again, and one requiring no extra water spray  -  it's all down to the steady rain that seems to be pretty much non-stop;   it's fine at the moment, but rain is  still very much on the cards.  We've seen Jo and Ric today, and they are longing for the Friday when Lucie will do the last of her A level exams when they are hoping for a little respite before the anxiety of waiting for results kicks in.  Needless to say Lucie didn't join us as she's hard at it revising.

Jo was telling me that the "big wedding" they were all set to attend in Brighton next week has been called off;  I can't help feeling it must be very sad all round, especially this late in the day.  However, as their travel plans are all in place they've decided to carry on and do the trip regardless.
